He's Here ;)

Saturday night around 8:30pm our family and about 25 others met at the airport to welcome Thom, Lesley, and Eli home! It was a great homecoming! It's so funny b/c it feels like it's a chapter in my life closed..I'll explain, Lesley told me on March 19th that her and Thom had decided to adopt..well ironically enough that's the day I found out I was pregnant ;) So I emailed her back and was like can you keep a HUGE secret from your husband, my husband ( I wanted to surprise him)..and even God? Of course I went on to tell her that I was expecting..and it's been so amazing to go through our "pregnancy's" together ;) So Saturday night, it was great to see Eli home, healthy and safe! We are just so excited for the Scott family..it was definitely a Christmas treat ;) Congrats! I can't wait to get over there and love on him! Here is a few pics of the homecoming...these two are funny b/c Lana was my BFF last night and she didn't want me taking pictures haha (notice my awesome sign that I made ;) (And thanks Jailyn for holding my sign! You did an awesome job!)

Jack waiting for Eli...

Jack getting swaddled by Mary and Joseph ;)

"Santa Likes Me Best"
Jack did a great job as Jesus..he didn't cry or anything..since it was a candlelight service I didn't get any good pictures b/c it was so dark..but it was awesome..I cried of course but it was a beautiful service. We are blessed with such an amazing church and church family! This Christmas it's not all about gifts and food, but focusing on the true meaning that God sent his one and only son that night..and we've been blessed with the greatest gift of all this Christmas..his name is Jack..no present can top him ;)

Ho Ho Ho..Almost 2 Months Old!

Jack will turn 2 months old on Sunday! It's hard to believe that he is just growing so big..I've been horrible at updating lately but last week Jack started not feeling well and this week I've been feeling horrible! And I'm sure after these 63 degree temps today I will be feeling crappy again! But onto other things..I had to take Jack to the Doc. last week when he wasn't feeling well..he weighed in at 10lbs 3 ounces..he goes back Monday for his shots so I can't wait to see what he weighs then! I do not however want to get his shots..it's just sooo sad..I hope that he is over it though by the time we go to Paducah for Christmas..Speaking of Christmas..Jack is going to play baby Jesus on Sunday at our church!! Yes I will take pictures, don't worry! I just hope he acts good ;) We will be in on Christmas Eve sometime..its looking like Michael will have to work a full day so we may not arrive until almost 9pm! Then if Michael has to work the 26th we will leave about 3pm on Christmas Day..not much of a trip! More on Jack..he's been sleeping almost 5-7 hours each night!!! It's amazing..he will go to sleep about 9 and wake up at 3, eat a little then drift off back to sleep until 6, then he goes back to sleep again until about 8! I'm loving it..I don't want to jinx myself though incase its a phase!! We are very excited to see everyone! Here are a few pics of Jack I took yesterday..the one with Max was like pulling teeth to take..Max didn't cooperate very well at all! See you soon!.
**I also forgot to add that on Saturday we will be going to the airport at 6pm to meet Eli Scott!! Thom, Lesley, and Eli will be arriving in Louisville from Ethiopia! They have to go through Chicago 2mr at 3:45pm..so I'm praying that the flights will go as planned! Expect some pics of Eli's Homecoming!!**

26 years of life..

Time flies when you are having fun, huh? I can't believe that I am 26 years old today! It seems like just yesterday I was out climbing things in the barn and riding the four-wheeler with Erin all over Reidland! ( I was just a tad bit of a tom-boy)..this year is probably the best birthday ever because I'm a Mom to the sweetest boy ever, and a wife to a great husband! (He's sweet to, sometimes) I am also so blessed with great family and friends, and a great church. So, today I might be a little depressed b/c I'm climbing the ladder to 30..but I am praising God for my life and everything about it! Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

On a funny note..yesterday Michael and I were teaching (trying to teach..) the 4 year olds at church , I think they are extremely excited about Christmas..anyways..one of the boys Kiya who is from Ethiopia, pointed to Michael's long growing beard and Kiya flexed his muscles and then asked Michael if he was stronger than Jesus haha..I guess Michaels beard is suppose to make him strong? Michael answered by telling he wasn't sure how strong Jesus was..but pretty sure Jesus was stronger than he was ;)..we are so blessed to work with these children and watch them grow! Only 17 days until Christmas!!

Christmas here we come..

My Santa Baby...
Thanksgiving has come and gone, and it was a great time! Jack enjoyed his first trip to Paducah...it wore me out! I'm pretty sure over 50 people held Jack while we were in! The food was great, and I think I gained atleast 5 pounds..and most of that was from eating Bob's 3 times, and Chong's twice haha We are looking forward to being back down that way in 19 days! While we were in Paducah we got the 2 sets of 5 generations together and made pictures..Jack is not only the first of everything (grandchild,great-grandchild, and great-great granchild) but he also made 2 sets of 5 generations! Our family is truly blessed..and we had so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Here is the Generation picutres..and then a link at the bottom for more Turkey day pics! There was to many to put up!!
