So Big!

Jack has a new trick he has recently started blowing, I'm guessing he is getting ready to blow out his birthday candles in 3 months ;) He is just getting so big! He is still rolling around and will try and get on his knees..but no crawling yet ;) Today Jena and I took Eli & Jack to the pool. They were so cute! It has cooled off quite a bit, so we are planning on going to the Zoo tomorrow! What a fun week. Yesterday was my first staff meeting as Interim PS Director at Highview..it was kinda challenging being away from Jack all day long..but it was so much fun. That is about all

that is going on with us right now. It looks like there is now a 5% chance that we will get to go to Paducah this weekend (thurs-sat)..so we probably won't get to. Unless Michael's boss changes his mind..you never know though. Enjoy the pictures and video!

Summer

The past week I have been so busy I have not been able to update at all! Jack turned 8 months this week! It's hard to believe that he is getting so big. After holding Leila Rodriquez this morning (she is 5 1/2 weeks) it made me realize just how Big Jack really is ;) Yesterday Michael, Jack, and I went to Nashville and hung out for the day. It was so fun! I bought a new Vera Bradley (finally ;) and got a new cell phone so hopefully I can actually hear people when they call me! I didn't find any clothes..it is kinda hard to shop when your husband and child is with you..but I just enjoyed the day spending quality time with them. I love my family ;) Yesterday morning Michael dropped Jordan off at the airport for his 2 week mission trip to the Philippines!!! We are so excited and so proud of Jordan. It's amazing to see Him growing in God's will for his life. So please pray for Jordan and the rest of the group as they are there preaching God's word!! I cannot wait to hear all about it when he returns. It was so fun talking with other people at church this morning who has children on the trip..we do know that they landed in the Phillipines at 10:30 this morning!! They were boarding a bus to head to the location. The High School Minister Dustin Schadt is updating his blog with updates he is over there as well..the web address is www.dschadt.wordpress.com . He is awesome..his top teeth are coming in and he is been kinda cranky.. this past week we have been swimming and just hanging out. This week is another busy week here in the Murphy household, luckily Aunt Jena is visiting!!! She is going to be a huge help this week.

Bright,Bright,Bright Sunshine-y Day ;)

Well today Jack and I finally got to go hang by the pool! It was such a great day to go! This week has been CRAZY ! I feel like Jack and I haven't got to spend any quality time together (and we haven't seen Daddy in almost 2 weeks b/c he's worked so much ;)..so it was so nice to go and play at the pool. We stayed out there for almost 4 hours! Jack loves it..which is fantastic b/c so do I! I'm hoping it stays nice and sunny so we can continue to have pool days!! Tonight is our last night at VBS it's family night. I'm so excited to see all my kiddos show their parents what we have been up to all week! It's so amazing to be singing with 200 or so kids singing praises to God. My Dad went home yesterday from the hospital, so hopefully that was his last trip, we have enjoyed seeing him and Courtney though! My Mom, Mike and Audrie are headed up here as we speak to spend the weekend with us! I CANNOT wait to see my Mom..it's been almost 3 months, and let's just say it's time! G'Day Mate!

I have been a horrible blogger the past 2 weeks, I apologize! There is soo much going on right now! Today is Michael's 27th Birthday! What a fantastic husband he is, I just fall in love with him more and more everyday! Sadly enough, we are to busy to celebrate his birthday today..so we will be celebrating this weekend. This week is Vacation Bible School at our church, and I have a rowdy group of Kindergartners! Last night I had 12!! They are so awesome though!! My dad also had a minor surgery last night, hopefully this is the last of hospitalizations for him and he can now get back to being normal (whatever that may be ;)..Michael has done a great job at entertaining them while they have been here! I wish I could spend more time with them too...but I have to teach at VBS! I have also taken the job of interim preschool director at church. So, between leading a class at VBS and trying to learn about the preschool director job it's been quite crazy! I love it though..I'm so blessed that God has given me the chance to fill in while they find a replacement! Who knows, maybe I will stay on board ;)
Of course this week Eli has been back his normal days..and Jack is so happy. It's so funny how much they like each other! Yesterday while I was folding laundry they sat on the bed. They had such a great time hanging out ..so it was a great chance for a photo of the two! Eli was cheesing.Jack has started smirking now..so that is what he was doing..they are so much fun!

A year ago today we found out if Jack was a boy or a girl..man does time fly! Enjoy the pictures..I'll try to be better at updating..;) Jack is doing great though, still learning something new every day. His new thing today..getting up on his knees rocking back and forth..look at world here comes Jack!!

Busy Bees..

Wow! The Murphy's have been super duper busy lately! I'm sorry to the Paducahians who check my blog daily (haha)!! So, to make up for it I have great pictures for you all to enjoy. Mr.Jack has learned to roll..so now he rolls everywhere!!! I'm pretty sure crawling is in his agenda soon. He is also eating stage 3 foods..and real food. Last night he had rice-a-roni with chicken, I threw it in the food processor and he loved it! It has started to make me extremely sad because I'm realizing my baby won't be a baby for much longer! In 4 short months we will be celebrating his 1st birthday! Not much more to report right now, we are just super busy! I still haven't got to take Jack to the big pool yet. It's been raining ever since we returned from Destin. I know he's going to love it though! Also Jack has started "talking" more. Today in wal-mart he turns around so that he can see this little boy and starts yelling "eh" "eh" at him..I'm pretty sure the boy was scared haha. Jack thought he was cool though! Last night Jack and I had a slumber party since Daddy was out of town..I LOVE these pajamas... I realized I had zero bath pictures of Jack..so here he is..his favorite place the bath..

Where's My Vacation?

It's always so sad to pack up, and head home from Florida. We had such a wonderful trip. Jack is a water boy for sure..I can't wait to get him in the pool. Thank you so much Gmom&Gdad for the amazing trip! We had a wonderful time ;)

Beach Bums

Jack's First Touch of the Ocean

Well today we might be getting a thunderstorm on the beach. This makes me a little excited b/c I love watching thunderstorms, and on the beach..well that's just a huge plus! Jack is loving the beach..he doesn't get out there alot b/c of his nap schedule..but by next year he will be out in that ocean!! I had already planned on taking swimming lessons this fall and winter with him just to keep him familiar with the water..I don't think he will have any problem! It's such a blessing to get to spend this quality time with the family..I also feel like when I'm out there by the ocean God reveals so much about my life to me. I can't wait to tell you a story about last year and feeling God leading me to a new direction in life..and now in a month I will be actually be fulfilling that calling in life ;)..Man..only a few more weeks until I can reveal the big secret!! Michael and I are also praying about another opportunity that we feel like God is revealing to us. It's so amazing to me that I have a Christian husband who stands beside me and loves me so much. Jack has been waking up at 5:30am each morning down here..seems like he doesn't know what vacation is haha..Right now I'm waiting on my husband and we are going to the book store. I figured atleast if the sun isn't out..it's a good reading day on the beach. My friend Kelly mentioned a book on her blog a few weeks ago that I'm going to go purchase. It's by Dr.Laura Schlessinger.."In Praise of Stay at Home Moms". I figured it was worth a read. Enjoy the pictures Jack is a water boy for sure! Oh, a funny story..I was going out to the ocean yesterday and I saw this Mom walking with 2 boys whom I could tell were definitely from Ethiopia (haha)..I noticed the boys looked alike..probably twins..as the boys got closer I realized it was Kobe&Kiya Ledford from church!! We talked with them for a long time..it's so great to talk adoption,church, and God's love with fellow church members 10 hours from home!! And of course the boys were excited to see Mr.Mike ;)
