Moms Day, right?

My First Mothers Day was just great! Jack was so excited that I was his Mom, he wanted to show me by waking up at 2:30AM on Mothers Day. His poor little teeth are hurting him right now, and I guess he just wanted me to hold him. I didn't know that I would have to hold him until almost 6AM that morning..but..he kept waking up screaming. It was a great reminder of how much I love this little guy!(not to mention a reminder of how much I love caffeine). My husband though was very sweet, he woke me up with breakfast "in the couch" (yes, that is where I ended up falling asleep), a pack of instant oatmeal, that I could make for myself. (HA) Needless to say, we swung through Burger King on the way to church so "mommy" could wake herself up with a fountain Diet Coke. We then arrived at church, I was slowly waking up, and was greeted by my lovely 3 & 4 years olds, eager to tell me what they did for their Mom's and to learn "the rest of the story" about Joseph. By this point my eyes were wide open and I took the Xtreme preschool on full force. I survived the morning at church...but let's just say some others didn't..Yes, they are snoozing in the BYE BYE BUGGY..guess who else was riding in the BIG BOY BUGGY?!?!?!?!?! (no, not me)

Yep, that's right Jack Murphy!! Doesn't he look thrilled? He actually loved it, doesn't he look so big?
After church, Michael,Jordan,& Jack took me out to eat at O'Charleys(ok ,actually GMom & GDad did, which by the way we all thought of yall while eating) but it was nice to be surrounded by family. Then Michael,Jack, & I came home and took a family nap (oh, & Max). So, the night ended with a wonderful bible study with friends, and bed. I did miss my family, and the fact they were all getting together yesterday day..but I did love my day to celebrate being Jack's mom. I take pride in being his mom, and always will. It's so amazing how your whole life changes after having a baby, but I love it, and I'm so glad God blessed me with my sweet family.
On a side note, Jack is doing so much right now! I feel like every day he learns something new! Right now he's putting everything in his mouth..and he's been acting really...well, how can I say this nicely..

Oh, well that works..yes he's been a little "crabby" lately..he puts anything & everything in his mouth, and his teeth really hurt if they get ahold of you the right way. He is sitting up like a big boy all by himself, and holding his bottle by himself.

We are entering the independent stage of life, in just 10 short days he will be 7 months old! AND Mommy & Daddy will be married 4 years. What a wonderful life. God is good, to those who love Him ;) Enjoy..and Enjoy Jack's Video.
