This week the boys and I are starting on a journey..the learning journey ;) I've made a few activities for us to do this week..that way we aren't just stuck in the house being bored. I just think kids learn so much from playing... And being a Early Childhood (almost) Teacher..(14 credits lacking..oh well) I know how important it is to be learning every day. I don't want this to seem like I'm cramming it down Jack's throat that he has to learn..b/c I'm not. When we are doing a activity and Jack gets bored..we stop. But when it's so much fun..how can you stop?? Today we practiced transferring objects. Our first activity was transferring our snack, with spoons. Not only was it good practice..but they got to eat it!! Next, I brought some snow inside to play with. (Clean snow..no yellow snow..) We had our shovels out and ready to go! I placed the snow in a few bowls, and showed the boys how to transfer it. Then we also learned "cold" because the snow was cold on those little hands. The boys laughed so much and had a great time. That is how learning should be..fun!!
