Jack & Eli

Wow! What a fun week Jack and I have had with our friend, Eli! Lesley asked me tonight at dinner if I thought having a 4 month old and a 14 month old would be harder or easier than what it was..I told her it was Easier than I was thinking!! I know we are going to have our rough days, but it's still so much fun! Even Max is having a good time ;) Here is a few pictures I've taken the past couple days of the boys..this is Eli's favorite toy at my house..the BOX! Michael had to get new boots for work and he was going to throw away the box..I was like NOO that's 30 minutes of something to play with..and sure enough..every morning Eli goes straight to the box..
Here is Jack-in-the-box haha..with Eli..

Eli is so sweet to Jack..and very gentle with him..while Jack was playing in the tunnel Eli wanted to give him "hugs"..

And here they are best buds forever..

How fun!!! I can't wait for Spring so we can get outside and explore!! I'm so thankful for Thom and Lesley letting me spend time with their sweet boy! I'm also thankful for a church that makes adoption such a priority! I can't wait for God to let us know the time is right so that we can adopt a child!!
I want to end this post by putting a part of an email that a dear, sweet friend of mine sent today..even though she is going through something terrible right now, she is praising God and thinking of others..
.... I wanted to share something I read yesterday that really encouraged me. I know each of you are probably going through different circumstances in your life and I hope this encourages you as well!
"I am with you. These four words are like a safety net, protecting you from falling into despair. Because you are human, you will always have ups and downs in your life experience. But the promise of My Presence limits how far down you can go. Sometimes you may feel as if you are in a free fall, when people or things you had counted on let you down. Yet as soon as you remember that I am with you, your perspective changes radically. Instead of bemoaning your circumstances, you can look to Me for help. You recall that not only am I with you, I am holding you by your right hand. I guide you with My counsel, and afterward I will take you into Glory. This is exactly the perspective you need: the reassurance of My Presence, and the glorious hope of heaven. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

God is so Good!! Enjoy your day!
