Well this week has just been crammed full with loads of fun stuff ;) First we will start with our first solid foods..rice cereal..yummy huh? Jack is loving the solid foods..lately he has been extra hungry and so the Dr. suggested to go ahead and start him on some cereal...

He actually really enjoys it and he is doing great eating with a big boy spoon ;)
Next we had Valentines Day..we really didn't do anything that awesome..I cooked us up some Chicken Cordon Bleu..and we watched Fireproof..which is an awesome movie if you were wondering..I recommend it to anyone thinking about getting married or is married..

Thanks to Jack's MiMi Murphy..we had a cute onesie that said "Heartbreaker"..he is def. going to be one of those!!
Next on Sunday I went to the movies with Brittany and her friend Carla..while I was gone Michael and Jordan watched the Daytona 500 and babysat for some reason it was a "milestone" according to them for Jack..so Michael took pics of Jack's first Daytona 500...
Before the race...

15 minutes into the race...;)

Today we had Jack's 4 month old check-up, and his 4 mo shots. He took the shots like a champ! His weight has increased to 15 1/2 pounds..and his length is now at 25 inches..we are growing so fast! The Dr. also told us to go ahead and start adding some baby food to Jack's diet..I just wanted to cry..is he seriously getting that old? Jack had a great Dr.'s visit and the next time we go he will be 6 months!! After that we headed to the mall with our buds Lesley and Eli Scott..Eli will be making his big debut with us tomorrow, he will be with us every Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday! Life is going to be interesting with a 4 month old and a 14 month old ;) I can't wait though!! So for now this is all that is happening with the Murphy's..I still have to post about Parent/Child Dedication..that will be for another day ;) Enjoy!

Wow, that is a big update. We go Wednesday for our 4 month check up. I am ready because Ollie has been a little ill and I'm afraid he may be coming down with something. We'll see what the doc says. I'm glad to see Jack is doing well. He's such a good smiler, too!!!! We have to pry Ollie's smiled out of him for the camera. He must be camera shy!!!
What a big milestone for Jack. I hope he enjoys all the new foods he'll soon be trying for the first time. Abby couldn't tolerate baby food until 6 months. We'll be praying things go well. We just love his cute little smile. Looks like the Daytona really wiped him out! HA!
We are about 32 weeks and counting for baby Andy. Took Abby to the dr. Mon. and she has strep throat...no preschool today. She had a penicillin shot in her leg and was a trooper. Shots sure aren't fun.
Love you guys,
Tom, Teresa & Abby
